Paper Blooms, Kits & More
Paper Blooms currently offers private workshops for small groups. These workshops are suitable for a cosy gathering for friends, a birthday celebration for a crafty friend, or a sweet surprise for your bridal party (or to you bridesmaids, for the bride herself!).
Do note that we will need a minimum of 3 students to start a class. Price per student: $80. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire availability of weekend dates and time slots (2pm - 5pm / 5pm - 8pm) for your group size. Payment instructions and venue details will be furnished accordingly via email.
Each workshop will take an estimated 3 hours, but do buffer an hour more for any delays as everyone's crafting pace is a little different. All material (crepe paper, floral wire, templates paper bag) can be taken home and equipment (glue gun, scissors) will be available for use during the workshop.
Ranunculus (2 stalks)
In this workshop, you'll learn how to make the third version of the Paperbloomssg ranunculus. This version (pictured above) features 60 to 80 petals and results in an overall bloom that's 10 to 12 cm in diameter.
The ranunculus' many petals make it a delight for those in love with details.
For this workshop, you may choose the colours of the ranunculus when you arrive, subject to availability of paper.
Suitable for complete beginners. As each bloom has around 80 petals, it can get quite tedious. Recommended for those who love the ranunculus' intricate details.
Rose (2 stalks)
In this workshop, you'll learn how to make the third version of the Paperbloomssg rose. This version (pictured above) features 30 to 35 petals and results in an overall bloom that's 12 to 14 cm in diameter.
This classic 'reflexed'-looking rose is suitable for any occasion and is made with German doublette crepe paper.
For this workshop, you may choose the colours of the rose when you arrive, subject to availability of paper.
Suitable for complete beginners. Recommended for those who want to start with a more well-known flower, especially if it is for a gift.
Japanese Peony (2 stalks)
In this workshop, you will get to learn the basics of crepe paper flower making.
The Japanese peony is one that's elegant yet relatively simple to make. It features an intricate pompom centre that is pretty by itself, but even more stunning when the large peony petals surround it.
For this workshop, you may choose the colours of the peony when you arrive, subject to availability of paper.
Suitable for complete beginners. Recommended for those who prefer larger blooms.
Hydrangea (1 stalk with
In this workshop, you'll be making a beautiful hydrangea made from crepe paper. The basic hydrangea will be 84 petals but depending on your pace, you can make more mini stalks for a fuller look.
2 crepe paper leaves will be provided for you to attach them at the end of the lesson.
The default colour for this will be the sugar blue mix (pictured above). Other possible colours may include the dusty pink mix, pastel pink mix, and white.
The petals are pre-cut so you will have to indicate your preferred colour in advance.
Suitable for beginners. Recommended for those who are more nimble with their hands as the tape-work is pretty tedious. *No glue gun is needed for this flower.
