Hydrangeas

December 17, 2018

Hydrangeas haven't always been my favourite flowers because they looked like a clump of fragile petals to me. However, I've gained a new found appreciation of that flower that took me more than 10 hours to make on my first try.

I couldn't stop thinking of using my light blue Cartotecnica crepe paper and the hydrangea was the perfect flower to try it on. If I had more time, I would have tried colouring the petals for gradation but... well. it took 10 hours already. Sore fingertips was the by product but the fulfilment was priceless.
