I recently learnt from a customer that it's tradition to give a paper gift for one's first year wedding anniversary.

I was so delighted to learn about that as I've been brought up to think of paper being associated something else.

How wonderful the feeling is, to know that the work of my hands are being gifted, and are partaking in another's joyous occasion. It's a much needed encouragement to keep at what I'm doing and expand my repertoire of paper blooms.

It's tempting to keep trying new flowers but it definitely cannot be at the expense of my orders. I shall leave the experimentation for a new type of orders that some friends have asked of me. These, I hope, can be released as products in the next month or so.

Till then, it's just more ranunculi and pompoms in all sorts of colors.
